If you think about the diagram in the book, the control processor or executive processor is usually set above short term memory with arrows running back and forth from attention, short-term memory, and long-term memory. However, because I did not show you this (we ran out of time), I will not expect you to know where to put it on the diagram for the exam. I do expect you to know what the role of the control processor or executive processor is in the model. That is in the book near the end of the chapter.
