I Believe
I believe that teachers are the key to the success of any one individual. Teachers are as essential to the development of a child as parents are. It is the goal of a teacher to do what they can to educate every student, no matter what their ability level is. All students should have an equal opportunity to learn as much as they are willing. Teachers also need to continue to learn from their students. It is the responsiblity of the teacher to be open-minded and realize they don't know everything there is to know. I also believe that is is up to teachers to provide facts to their students and to allow their personal opinions affect their teaching as little as possible. Students need to be exposed to all sides of an issue, not just those that the teacher feels are most important. Great teachers are those that students talk about years later because they made an impact in that students life.

I absolutely agree with you. Whether a student is at the top of their class, or struggles greatly, each needs to be given their share of attention if they are willing to learn. Students also need to learn all sides of an issue, because you need to familiarize yourself with all aspects of a subject if you expect to master it. And I definitely agree with your last statement; there's teachers I had in middle school that my friends and I still joke about today.
I would agree. What would the world be like without teachers? I agree that teachers are essential to the growth of children. A teacher cannot give up on teaching any student no matter how difficult it could be. The teacher has a lot of responsibility on the kind of education the child receives. It is th ehope for all teachers that the children learn and actually enjoy learning. I think it is the hope of all teachers to make such an impact on the students that they are still talking about the teacher years later.
