This I Believe....

I believe that teachers must strive to create an environment in which a student feels safe, secure and most of all one filled with laughter and fun. Although children must obviously learn how to conduct themselves properly in a classroom, I feel that they must be allowed to express themselves openly and have a blast doing so! As an educator I would love to create an environment that is enriched with endless opportunities to learn and show the students that learning can be one amazing adventure! After all, the teachers that we remember the most from school are those that create these such environments.

I agree with your statement that teachers must create an enivornment that is exciting but also where the students can learn. I can relate to your statement that the teachers we remember the most and the ones that we learned the most from are the ones that we also could laugh and have fun with. I agree that the students need to feel welcome and invited in the class to learn. I feel like if the students dont feel confortable in the classroom then they are less likely to learn. As teachers, I think we need to learn the balance of creating this environment in which the students can have fun but also learn.
