This I Believe

I believe teachers have one of the most important roles in a child's life. Teachers are involved with a child on a day to day basis almost as much as the parents are. I believe teachers are not only there to teach a certain subject and assess if the children know that subject, but to help their students turn into good citizens and future adults. Teachers help mold children and with that teachers must always be flexible. All children are different and don't learn in the same fashion so I believe teachers always have to be willing to think of new ideas for their students and help the students learn to the best of their ability. Teachers need to nourish children's minds in a way that will keep them interested and wanting to learn. If a teacher doesn't cater to a students needs I believe that teacher isn't doing their job and that that child will not be achieving to their ability.
