As a teacher... I believe I need to listen to every student, so that I am able to discover each students strengths and weaknesses, so that I am able to help them succeed to the best of their abilities.
I think the most difficult aspect of teaching is to get to know how each student learns because everyone learns differently. It takes an enormous amount to energy to get to know each student and the special ways you can help them.
Listening is a very important trait that a teacher must have. As educators, we need to be able to hear how they feel, or think so we can adjust our teaching methods to get the most out of the child.
I completely agree with everything that was said. Figuring out how all students learn, and finding ways to accomodate all different learning styles is something that I think many teachers struggle with. I think many students give up or do poorly because teachers cannot find a solution for them
