I believe that the most important factors in a teacher include understanding, involvement, and being resourceful. Through teaching at a personal level and understanding that concepts will not be understood at first glance is a key factor. Allowing questions and study groups are also a must as the only dumb question is the one not asked. Also a teacher with as much involvement as a student has a profound effect of school spirit and personality.
