This I Believe...

I believe I can truly make a difference as a teacher and can guide my students to success. I believe teachers lay the foundation for not only a person’s education but their life too. I believe it is important not only to teach but also to be taught because students have just as much to offer in the classroom as their teacher. I also believe teachers can bring out the very best in each and every student, aiding students to achieve more than they even realized was possible. Teaching is the one thing a person can do in life that will affect an immeasurable amount of people. I believe it is the teachers who actually teach because it is their passion rather than just a job who make the most difference. Those teachers are the ones who everyone looks back on remembering them in some way. Although those teachers may have been tough or not the most well-liked, they impacted many students through the years. Some of those teachers may have been the ones who carried on every day conversations with their students because they cared and wanted to go beyond doing their job. Most of all, I believe teaching is one of the most rewarding, yet challenging, experiences in life.

I agree with you saying that teaching can be challenging at times, but in the end it is always rewarding knowing that you impacted a students life for the better. I also agree with you on the comment you made that teachers are teaching because they love to teach, not just because it is their job that they have to do everyday. Those that love to teach are the best teachers and the ones that students learn from the best.

Laura,
I agree with you about how a teacher can guide students to success. I also agree with you about having the teachers that were not well-like, but still remembering them. I hated my Spanish 3 Spanish teacher, but now she is one of my good friends. I also agree that teaching can be really difficult at times, but if your making a difference and changing children's lives it is all worth it in the end. I also believe teaching will be one of the most rewarding experiences in life. I teach Spanish and when I go back to my class and they know knew things, I get really happy because I helped them learn that and because it was a really rewarding experience.
